Understanding

Pain

perception

Hi, I'm Mat. I use novel functional, molecular and imaging technologies to understand how the brain modulates painful sensory information:
our attention, motivations and emotions all have the power to affect how much pain we perceive.
I also enjoy anything outdoor.
